The Under 14 Girls are a relatively new team to the Outlaws family, which we intend to build through to U16 and U18 girls’ age groups. This U14 Girls squad was established in 2018 with a focused effort to develop a junior Girls section for the Club and the initiative was supported by Derbyshire Basketball Association, Active Derbyshire, Big Kirk Hallam, and East Midlands Airport.

All our coaches are Basketball England accredited

Currently the team plays in a National Development League where they are showing continued improvement.

The focus for girls is to learn new individual and team skills, improve their fitness and have fun along the way.

The team is coached by a team of young female qualified Coaches from the Outlaws Senior Women’s Team – Ashli Naisbitt, Louise Bradley, and Heidi Barlow, led by Coach Becci Carter and supported by Senior Women’s Head Coach Paul Booth who is also Manager and Administrator for our U14 girls team. 

We are always looking for new female players, senior and junior, and all enquiries regarding new players etc should be directed to Paul Booth via this website.

Everyone of all abilities are welcome – no previous experience necessary.  Come along and give it a try.
